Columbia Space Shuttle Recovery Incident - Palestine Incident Base - Palestine, Texas

On February 17th Team 1 assembled at the Anderson County Youth Livestock Expo in Palestine, Texas for a briefing on our portion of the recovery efforts for the Columbia Space Shuttle . We will assemble an Incident support base, structure search training procedures for crews, train crews and the execute the ground search for a large portion of east Texas near the town of Palestine. The team is also involved in and supporting a portion of the air search and recovery accomplished by helicopters.

Due to the sensitivity of the project, only images of the general area, camp and crew photos will be displayed for the folks back at home.
